The best quality beeswax comes from the wax cappings during the honey extraction process. I just made a batch of Votive and Tea Light Candles from last falls extraction. The wax color is a bright yellow, full of the wonderful smell that only beeswax has. Cleaning up the wax is extremely time consuming, so I dont make candles very often.
