How much for a jar of honey?

A note on honey: It is rather heavy stuff so the shipping can be just as expensive as the honey…doubling the price.  If you want your honey to help you with resisting your local allergies or hay fever, then you need to get local, raw, unfiltered honey.  Eating your local honey that hasn’t been heated and filtered will contain pollen grains from the plants that are giving you trouble and will help you build up some resistance to them.  I recommend buying directly from the bee keeper to know for sure you are not getting honey that has been “packaged” locally but is mixed with honeys from other states and countries and has been heated at high temperatures (like much of what you can buy cheaply in grocery stores).

With that said, buying honey from different locations is really fun!  Each honey is unique and will have a variety of different flavors.  Again, buy directly from the beekeeper if you can.  We are more than happy to sell ours. Grin

We have the following sizes:
4 oz glass jar $3.50
12 oz glass jar $6
12 oz bear $6
24 oz bear $10
32 oz bear $13

We have just over 10 hives and keep them in ours and a couple of neighbor’s backyards.  They are usually near horses, so virtually no pesticides being sprayed for several miles around.
