He's trying to troll us by directly attacking and insulting our coin - that does not work. It actually has the opposite result: that makes us step up to defend our coin and thus it strenghtens our convinction and the reasons why we like it. It's a force that creates a reaction in the opposite direction, because it forces us to distant ourself from the role of an unemotionally implied bystander and forces us to consider strongly the reasons which make us think he's wrong. And it has long-lasting effects because of our ego; if we defend something, it's less likely that we'll change our opinion about it later, both because we want to prove the detractors wrong since they have become ennemies, and because we don't want to think that we've been wrong.

That's basic psychology, and clearly he's shooting himself in the foot with such elementary trolling!

What he should have done instead, is to be more subtle; shake our beliefs from the inside like a trojan horse, rather than directly attacking us where we are well ready to defend ourself. He should instead have attacked the values which make us like dogecoin, rather than confusely attacking dogecoin has a whole. He could have, for exemple, made us think he's a member of our community and do behaviours contrary to what we want our community to be, that might have made us willing to change to another community, and that would not have attacked our ego and make us want to defend the coin so it's more likely that it would have worked.
