On top of that there are new coins using the cryptonote protocol that offers anonymity without the need for a complicated masternode network. Once the GUI is out for those coins and they have addressed bloating on the blockchain, all of the major arguments against cryptonote coins will be gone.
You mean the cryptonote coins with massive inflation that makes it impossible to retain the value of your investment?
You make it sound like it's a sure thing they will fix the bloat. Do you know it's even possible? Darkcoin will be released fully and open sourced before they get even started. And not to mention the huge head start bitcoin compatible coins have when it comes to merchants etc adopting it. Cryptonote coins need at least a year perhaps two before they are as easy to take into use as bitcoin based coins. And by then the Darkcoin train is already too far in the horizon.
And masternodes can serve a lot of other purposes in addition to anonymization. Cryptonote coins need dedicated nodes as well don't they? Do they get paid? Who will run them if there's no incentive? The dev team? Doesn't that lead to centralization?
Please feel free to attack Monero if you are so confident in your assertion.
