I have no base, other than that someone was 2 years ahead of someone else who manage to create a fork of their work. The monero guys probably didn't even have a clue that anonymity was the shiet until darkcoin showed them, and after that they wanted to make a quick buck and go down in history books as the 'inventors of the modern "new age" anonymous economy' pfft.

100% bullshit straw man argument. The developers of Monero have never claimed nor do they ever claim to have invented the technology.

At least learn some of the history before going off spouting nonsense.

Why are all the Monero shills spamming this thread?
You gonna ban me here, little bitch?

Monero is just a cheap, lazy fork that steals/syncs the BCN code every weekend...
They don't even have a fucking wallet... because they can't steal it from the BCN devs.

Stealing intellectual property is 1000 times worse...
Than quietly mining your own work for a while...
It will be poetic justice if BCN... or a 3rd party takes the CN space.

And gmaxwell has NEVER endorsed Monero...
Though he has praised the BCN team and their CN tech...
And has specifically, publically condemned the Monero group as a bunch of thieves...
The exact discussion is out there... we will have to revisit it on a regular basis.

Come on dude. Play fair.

Cryptonote is open source. The whole idea is to propagate the technology and make something good out of it.

Monero just happens to have the leading inertia. It doesn't mean that Bytecoin is dead. A lot of people have been scared away from Bytecoin due to the premine thing.

Most people in BCN are also in XMR so it's only natural that there's going to be debate here in this thread. I don't see that as a bad thing
