If you load a paper wallet do those coins still stake?

Your coins will still generate weight, and when you take them out of the paper wallet, you'll get any any stake that would have been generated. The interest won't be added while the coins are in the paper wallet.
Yes, but as HYPER stakes daily you will miss out on a lot of stakes! Still it is a good way to store HYPER if you want to save some for a long time, in a way in which you aren't tempted to spend them
