i tried to flash the firmware... no good...
tried to switch the cables... no good...
tried to switch PSU... no good... (while my PSU is working perfect with the other S1)
btw, this one is quite different
the LED light is yellow
unlike the common S1, which is the LED light is green
and, when i started this S1 (yellow LED), the LED on the blade is not blinking
maybe the blade is dead? oh god...
I had similar problems with my S1 (I can't remember the LED color) The two things that I had to "get right" were the DNS server and my username on the pool. I know that if it can't reach the pool it will not start hashing.
First off I would use the web interface to the S1 and see if you can ping your pool. That will ensure that your IP configuration is correct. If you can't ping your pool then check the DNS configuration.
If you can ping the pool, check that your worker name and password for the pool are correct. (I forgot to prefix my worker name with my pool user name.)
One other thing that popped into my mind is the LAN settings vs WAN settings. WAN is where you make the changes so that the miner will work on your network. LAN should be set for DHCP. (I believe that LAN is used internally by the miner to communicate with the boards.)
yeah, i made sure these settings...
this one... after i tried to switch its control board...HOLAAAAAA
ITS WORKING, now am waiting for bitmain to reply this problem...
