Altcoin mining is a more attractive option when compared to Bitcoin mining. A few months ago, I got 0.2 LTC after mining for just 12-13 hours (using my normal system). I was afraid that my processor will get fried, so had to stop mining. Don't know how profitable is Litecoin mining right now.
