The total coin cap was 7M  splited into IPO and POW phase.

Since the IPO wasn't totally sold, there was an agreement between Harmony head team and bittrex. It was stated that bittrex would destroy the remaining ipo coins (the coins who weren't purchased) which was around 2.4M if i'm not wrong.

I think this is why the explorer will show a higher amount of coins created since the ipo coins were already mined to be sold and right now the remaining pow phase coins are still being mined for the next 3 days.
