Does the name itself work against this coin?
I must admit, that concept has been in the back of my mind the whole time I've observed and traded BC.
As shallow as it is, the name is always going to form the initial, visceral first impression.
I think a proportion of people will always shy away from that. (Perhaps) It isn't a mainstream-friendly name in the same league as Bitcoin and Litecoin. It carries inevitable connotations of separatism as it's very identity, and perhaps that separatism will always passively work against the desired end-game of universal adoption.
