I think the devs are most likely working their asses off to get the new release done to just get that done...
Indeed and I certainly mean no slight to some of the most diligent and imaginative devs in captivity.
The point about the wallet is well made however because it is the user/investor interface. Also I don't believe the old adage about not building from/on broken has been superseded. That is especially true in this iterative build-enhance cycle.
The appropriate response would have been to simply tell WhiteLion, in this case but anyone who inquired, that yes, some people have found a need to use the workaround mentioned in the opening post but the decision has been made to leave the wallet as is because a new wallet with enhancements is being released imminently.
No fud and no hurt feelings.
