Why NTX client has non empty nxt_db folder? 
Because the port conflict with NFD, we changed the port, with a database in order to prevent the block chain fork. We will remove the database in the next version.Yes - and once again, thanks for that. It turns out MaWo made the best of it because the NFD network got some advance stress testing as a result.
