2% premine.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Note I'm not taking this devs side just making a point clear to people.
Most pools take 1% - 2% fees to cover their operational costs are you saying we should avoid most pools? If the developer is legitimately taking a premine to cover the coin's operational costs for future bounties/promotions I fail to see the difference. Most pools don't give away any of the funds they receive to further the development of the coin. They just add more coins to their pool and evolve into a multi-pool. So it's ok to take 1-2% in fees to support other coins but it's not ok to take 1-2% to support the actual coin?
Sure there are alot of devs that will dump their premine onto the exchange which kills alot of these altcoins. But I believe if a dev is really using a premine for the benefit of the community then what is the harm in it? A dev should pay for the development of a coin from his own pocket, pay for the promotional costs of the coin from his own pocket and then also mine a coin he developed from his own pocket then that makes a legit coin?
