What would the logistics be like to do an airdrop, or something like that on Indian ran casinos and stores to get interest going in that arena. I do not know if that is feasible or even a good idea.
I personally have a hard time getting my head around how they could use them since they could just make their own crypto to use inside casinos (seems like a good idea that could eliminate coins in machines), but maybe if there was a unified crypto that could be carried from casino to casino, then spent at reservation stores as well it may be a winning proposition for everyone.
Just a thought.
That's exactly what the "old dev" kept telling his purported plans had been. As he also claimed at the time to be (conveniently) half-Indian and, thus, know his way around and planning to spend that notorious pre-mine on "paying reps" for making it happen, this provided some kind of credibility at the time. As that turned out to be outright fraud, we're left with a coin name that might be somewhat awkward for many other uses.
The thing going nicely with what "Wampum" is (and also solving any name problem) would be coloured coins (smart contracts) and all kinds of certifications, registrations and smart property transactions built on top of the Wampumcoin block index. This can be done with ANY coin (and its block index or blockchain) and would be particularly suitable for a coin like WAM with gazillions in coin volume and, hence, sufficient liquidity. Also, it would provide the urgently needed coin velocity and (once again) that thing called "building an economy" for this coin here.
Historically, Wampum happens to have been used for recording contracts and all kinds of (smaller) agreements. To make Wampumcoin useful in a similar way might provide some real purpose and a way forward.
