I would like to alert and warn everyone about doing business on the MasterXchange. DO NOT send your Maidsafe Coins there under any circumstance.
I am quite alarmed regarding a recent withdrawal I put through, when I sold my MaidSafe for BTC. They mentioned it takes 48 hours, as they claim they have some bullshit system of manually processing each transaction only once a day for 'security reasons'. It has been well over 48 hours now and they claim the guy that deals with the withdrawals, lives on a island with no internet. I know of another person going through the same experience right now. To me this screams 'GOX'. The mere fact they don't have a back up system is bizarre.
MasterXchange is a third party service representing MaidSafe, but could irreparably destroy Safecoin's reputation, considering there are so many of peoples funds stuck there. I would be exceptionally careful and not deal with this mob. I am out of pocket 40 BTC.
We shall see what will unravel within time..
I sold my MaidSafe Coins there last Sunday, and withdrew my BTC. It took around 36 hours, but they arrived in my BTC account on Monday. So if there is a problem, then it is very recent...I am sure it will get solved once the person that is supposed to handle it is able to get to internet again. But... wouldn't it be better if this Single Point of Failure would be solved? So make a backup procedure that in case this happens, someone else can take over the tasks!
