In the meantime, do a ping to http://pool.centralcavern.uk:9332 and see what you get, you may be pleasantly surprised - if your ping is under 50ms, it should be OK to mine there... however, I will search around for a VPS nearer to where you are located.

ah, in that case i'd advise not to mine here just yet - that ping will give you too many rejects.
i should have more nodes active on monday of next week.
