The 1000drk isn't on the masternode. So if someone gets in to the running masternode then they ain't getting shit. Therefor if there is a critical flaw in DarkSend algorithm, all securing methods would not be futile.

He's got a valid point. With local/remote setup, the 1k deposit does not sit on the actual Masternode. And yes, you should harden down your Masternode anyways, to prevent a hacker from attempting to manipulate the network.
I dont get why its nonsense. Its perfect common sense in my book.
