I've been to India and seen the same thing, but it wasn't caused by capitalism, it was caused by the entrenched belief system that you were meant to be where you were born based on karma (caste system). The reason the rich get richer is because we keep playing their game. If the OP is really "cubically contained" then it's his fault the rich are so rich. Cut your job and get some hair man!
