I see PetaMine are having a vote on switching to p2pool.

While they are not a pool, it is interesting nevertheless. Hopefully this happens and makes it very tempting for some of the smaller pools to join, triggering a cascade.
Would it be too much to ask for all major mining operations to be working via p2pool?
It would be so cool to know in near-realtime which txs are being worked on.
