I believe we should at least prepare for that new manufacturer being someone other than AM. In their initial statement they wrote:
Due to our past experience with ASICMiner, we are committed to using ASICMiner hardware for our own capacity, until we see a reason not to.
They're talking about some new mysterious player. This either means that they'll be switching to another chips provider, an additional one who just wants to host something, or someone supplying them with boards using AM chips (best case).
I wouldn't bet on that, though. But keep in mind that this is in no way a dealbreaker for AM, in my opinion.
