1. You can install the new client and put your wallet.dat backup into the folder
2. There are many ways in which payouts occur. NRS stakes like cash in a savings account, so you earn interest for keeping a balance in your wallet. There is also the general fund, the first NG venture group, which receives periodic NRS payouts for their various projects. There will be other venture funds opening in the future for other projects. Your participation is logged via wallet address, hard-coded into our payment scripts. These all pay NRS to your wallet. Payouts are typically done in NRS, but new projects may create new coins and payout structures.
3. NoirBits are the first Noir Group coin, exchanged early on for membership in the general fund. NoirBits is currently being re-worked into our future projects.
4. The website is being updated, and BTC38 is being notified-

Ok, thanks for your quick response !

One more question:
- I read on the forum that the wallet stakes 3% every 14 days. Did I misunderstand that and is the stake 3% a year ? Or is it actually per 14 days ?
- And do I need to keep the wallet open the whole time to make it stake ? And is staking then like mining ?
Ok, more then 1 question

But would be nice to finally know how this works exactly.
Thanks again for your dedication to this coin/ share !
1. Stake is 3% per year, but could possibly be more depending how often you actually stake
2. Wallet cannot stake without being opened, but it's not required to keep it open all the time. Periodically opening the wallet to let it synchronize and stake is ideal, maybe once a week. Staking is in a way sort of like mining, yes. Not the same, but there are similarities.
