Summercoin was dead, they change it to Summer2 and there is again some activity, we are so running behind, either EAC need to come with something that will really become a hype or we will hit 1 sat soon, pretty sad story for one of the biggest coins in the beginning of the year. Pretty sad.

This. Change to X11 or something. Not only is it more earth friendly, using less power, but it's an algo people like at the moment.

Sort it out guys.

Who are the "guys" at the moment, haven't seen biomech anymore also no posts from the earthcoin account. But I think Wes is still very busy talking technical stuff over skype with all the developers hehe Wink Jo wes are you still alive?? Biomech you've got the family stuff worked out already? And this vague linki person he build the last eac wallet, I think he never even posted one message here, why not... weird isn't it? And mister Norb last heard from him during the famous chat session. Come on "guys" be active do something or be honest that the current team isn't capable to bring this coin forward. Time to put all the cards on the table, transparency is needed now! And indeed I also think it would be better to change to x11.

Not all of us are "guys" you know.  Kiss

I'm the publicity officer for the coin, work on long term projects rather than daily communications.

As you know, cryptos combine 5 technologies - peer-to-peer network, algorithm, blockchain, cryptography and keys. People come to cryptos looking at one part, say the algorithm, and expecting a change in the algorithm will change everything. (That said, others on the team can speak to your X11 question.)

Every month there is a new quick fix. Or people come to cryptos as investors, assume the crypto should behave exactly like wall street fiat.

The truth is no one knows how cryptos behave synergistically, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Cryptos are deflationary - not inflationary - currencies and we don't know what the rules of deflationary currencies are, particularly when combined with elements like social networks.

I agree that the coin needs support now, but also - expectations should match the fact that we are all treading on brand new ground. There are people on the team who are dealing with EAC's big, long-term picture. If you want to join that effort, I encourage you to go to earthcointalk and join working groups in our private forums.
