Volts x amps = watts, Period. You can re-arrange that any way you like.
Watts / amps = Volts
Watts / Volts = amps
That's only for DC and instantaneous AC power. The
proper way to calculate average AC Power is via
P
avg=V*I*cos(x) cos(x) is the P.F.
PS: "Volts / watts = amps" is wrong.
You only need P.F. correction if you live in a area with shitty service.
