Hey guys. I've just open my favourite service called coinmarket and do you know what did i see? My favourite bytecoin is marked as Significantly Premined. What? Guys are you kidding me?
How can you say that BCN is premined if it was announced
2 years ago? Prooflink
https://bytecoin.org/old/index.html Are you out of your mind?
Shit dude. The same question.
It's also not a secret that BCN had a huge number of miners. There were also some services on darknet which is about Bytecoin trading. Maybe you can find some nowadays. In my opinion, it's the best proof, that BCN isn't a currency which is bla-bla-bla-premined.
Somebody said that age of currency doesn't mean that coin can't be premined. So give me please the other criterions of premined status
Wrong - if you check the way blocks were mined over the "2 years" it's clear that under 30 individual CPUs were involved in all mining. If you accept that the code in slow_hash.c was purposely crippled (recalculating static values in every iteration of the loop is not a mistake) then there were less than 10 individual CPUs involved.
People who are "in the know"
have come to the same conclusion - Bytecoin is listed under the "Extreme Caution" and "Questionable Cryptocurrency Alternatives" sections of the paper: "An Investor's Investigation Into The Mining Statistics Of Bitcoin Alternatives"
