I think I found part of the problem:
The links to the new wallets .exe and .zip files you posted do not seem to work.
I tried running these in two new VM's and they just crash at startup.
Same goes for the wallets that are currently available through Noirds.com.

Finally I tried downloading a wallet through link:

This wallet does work in my VM and it's syncing now.
After it has finished syncing in my VM, I will copy the files in my %appdata% folder back to my laptop and see if it will work there as well.

But please check the links on Noirds.com and the links you posted here in the forum, because they seem to link to disfunctional client files.

And I tried finding the .conf file to PM to you, but I can't find it.
What should be the location of this file ?
