Thanks for the feedback.  I feel it is important to be totally honest with the community.  I am paying an experienced dev to create first wallet so it will be done right.  This is not a coin gen.

You and @jorr have a point though.  The lack of permanent dev does affect the price which is why I have made sure to point it out in the OP.  My openness though I feel will give the coin some added value. 
I am paying the dev in BTC for start and if there is an issue I will pay bounties out of my personal BTC to get them fixed.

My hope is to have dev continue long term through the use of community dev resources and donations to pay for specific dev features.

While I cant promise you a fork free experience.  I can promise you that it wont be me forking you over and selling the premine and running.  There is no premine or IPO and I am paying for the all the startup costs out of my pocket.
