Are any of these actually interactive with the functions shown or is it just a display? I'm currently rocking some Geektools on my Macbook displaying stuff like real-time weather/several separate timezones from work etc (all achieved using AppleScript + Curl).
Yes it displays accurate live information about your PC , and you can put whatever you want / or just simple stuff
Depends on what kind of person you are you can have a ton of gadgets or simple tweaked ones , like your music at 1 click with visualisation
Or your videos , you can even play multiple videos / slideshow pictures on smaller screens on your desktop
Or news feed like on TV on the bottom of your screen , anything you want you can do , fully customizable , you can load from 1 skin to 10000x skins and they don't fight with each other
