On linux, the file must be named "coin.conf" (do not substitute "republiccoin" for "coin", literally it's "coin.conf") in the directory /home//.republiccoin.
Replace with your username. Ubuntu, jiminycricket, whatever.
On first run, if the folder doesn't exist, it will be created.
