Mods on btc-e ban you for talking about ANY coin that is not traded on btc-e, once in a while they will tolerate it but 90% of the time you get banned. Which is dumb because they have basically zero coins on there.
Mods (especially pumpers like moosa, koolio etc.) didn't ban people for speaking about cryptcoint when they were actively supporting (and pumping) it. People were allowed to talk about cryptcoin freely.
Now they've started banning people again if they speak about cryptcoin.
