Well, through this post, I would like to share my thought on how we're going to move from PoW only to hybrid PoW/PoS.

First of all, after I finish the required changes in code and migrate the blockchain, I'll leave the wallet running for at least a couple of days just to make sure that everything is working as it is supposed to.
When all tests are passed, an official mandatory upgrade release will be issued. Official nodes, exchanges, pools and other service providers will be the first to be notified so they to get the updated wallet code and have it compiled. The new wallet is going to disallow connection from old clients, so we avoid multiple forks, as previous version wallets will not be able to understand the new block structure and it's certain that they will fork.
