that's very interesting because as far as I know, nobody has figured out what causes the daemon to silently crash. if you have a fix and are keeping it secret, you really should release the code to the public so we can all benefit from it. open source, and all that jazz.
From what i have heard, these daemon fixes were released, but the devs reverted the fixes to avoid some possible bugs with wallet synchronization.
