is there a list of peers to start with?

But what are peers? I have never heard of them before.

its the various nodes that are part of the network
can you post a few ip addresses of the peers that you are connected to?

Why do you need them?

I want to join the network, but I cant without knowing at least one peer's IP address
for some reason it is not finding them automatically
