Not nice at all. If a single "bored" person can double the hashrate it means the security of this coins is down the drain.

A lot of coins suffer the problem of low hash rates. We're implementing Pulse soon, to link the block creation to the number of transactions. This will make the coins more valuable, because the creation will slow down if no transactions are sent.
