BcBit was created to show that it could be done better, quicker and more secure.
Why wait until someone else releases the concept before you all decide to implement it?

Good question. 
I think some people choose to place their focus on less useful energies, (fud) then start to pay attention when others use their energy in more creative methods and pass right by them.
