Probably looking at a few weeks / 1 month, as it's no IPO and no premine we are on a limited budget so its a mater of getting the spare time to set everything up as we all have our day jobs!

I think that guy is probably just setting up the pool initially ready for registration so that when it's released people can get mining fairly quickly.
