How will they control the number of masternodes if there becomes too many?
Guessing it will be first in first serve but don't know how that could be regulated.

I wouldn't raise the reward.. I think much more and miners will revolt.

The Maternode system within Darkcoin will be self regulating. It does not need intervention. Spontaneous organization derived from self interest. When the Masternode count gets too high the symptom will be low profit. Consequently some will not run them. Masternode count goes down, profit goes up...etc.

All these parameters dedend on price of 1DRK and it will regulate itself. End of such a self regulating loop is only the final end of a coin ( no one is longer interested in or technical fault )
Only thing i see the count of masternodes go down is because of price will rise over some levels and a lot of people sell because off taking profit. New ones won´t pop up because of too high pricelevel
to run a 1k node.

But these are things we do not have to care about now.
