My impression is, that the confusingly stroked area (with the SETI signal) is irrelevant, it's also used for the password already. Attention should be payed for the channel number and the 51 bytes headlines and somehow the marked line on the right.
http://i.imgur.com/lUHNUQK.jpgDoes the random squiggly bits look deliberate to anyone else? Just the way the lines seem to pass through specific digits has me interested. For instance, if you look at the bottom how it passes through 'U' and avoids any other characters before hitting another '1' and then sharply going to another '1'. Could be that I'm just grasping at straws here but I'm at a loss as to what to do here.
