That is a link that takes you directly to a blank PM addressed to PMPgiveaway where you can send him (me, us) your PMP address.
What would some random person have to gain by pretending to be a member of the team and gathering names and PMP addresses?
We also did the same thing for the PMC-to-PMP swap with a user account called PMCswap. This makes it easier to keep track of messages/applicants and also doesn't flood my own personal message box.
