I'm agree. Moreover developer of Xmining Pool published his changes and now all pools will be able to involve the FCN
I am waiting for the original developer of the code to look at xminning's code. Please not his pool code just has support for the fantomcoin blockchain and does not actually have the ability to perform merged mining.
Another thing i noticed -
https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool/pull/48 is a commit for duckNote address validation. Looks like patch is working on
http://ducknote.xminingpool.com because once i missed my duckNote address while mining my miner missed connection, when i change it start working.
It is a major issue with
http://duck.extremepool.org/ no address validation, one of the reasons i am not currently mining on your great pool.
I have a work around currently in place, there are no issues with payouts on the ducknote pool.
that commit from what I have read and heard from zone only validates the length of the address, not if it is actually valid. if zone merges then I will update my pull, otherwise I don't trust the code.
