The USD price per unit when they went on sale was about $480. So if they grossed $22 million the first day, that's nearly 46 thousand units. Rounding up to 500 GH/s per unit, that's about 22 petahash.
That seems high to me. Maybe this market is bigger than I thought. Or maybe my math is wrong.
Someone had the btc address bitmain was apparently using to consolidate the purchases. I watched it the evening of the first day they opened up sales. Was actually looking for my order but never found it. Most transfers were multiples of .75 though so I would guess it was legit. But I don't remember where I saw it. If it was here or reddit.
