it isn't forked to hell, but there is clearly two forks.
old blockchain (used by the exchange, whomever said that polo did move to the new wallet was entirely wrong... so people are buying and selling a coin which cannot move outside the exchange  )
new blockchain (used by the miners.... but not by the exchange)

so this is a major screw up.

So yes, in the current state, the coin is dead... (it is up to dev to do a proper fork)  and I don't think the exchange will buy into the new blockchain crap...
