I've lost about $1500 few years ago gambling on a few sites when that was all I had. I thought I was being really clever by making small bets but I ended up losing everything in a few hours. It screwed me financially. I still have the habit to do it with small amounts when I see someone gambling on the street. It's illegal where I live and it hasn't stopped me from doing it.
