A few hickups though:
temp parameters aren't recognised (eg. --temp-cutoff) and I don't see temps/rpm displayed in the miner window. I'm rebooting the rig now to see if it's temporary...

Temp won't show due to the lack of ADL_SDK, go get em and copy to ADK_SDK folder

Download them, and copy the include/* dir to your ADL_SDK/ directory (which is empty) in the miner directory
