do i have to do that if i have already wallet 1.6, but it is still not syncing anymore and stopped at block 14141?

To speed up the process you can download and unzip this bootstrap.dat file into your data folder (after removing the old block chain) and it will sync up all the way to that point (about block 16470 at this point).

backup your wallet
close your client
on windows go to "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Guerillacoin" (don't ask me for mac
)delete all except wallet.dat
restart your client
