Firegod, there have in fact been more supporters of the team's approach than detractors.
Also, it would be incorrect to call this "hyping", never mind "overhyping". It's an announcement. It's good news. There is reason to be excited.
Therefore, brace yourselves.
You'd also have to admit to a weak epistemic position here. I know the news, therefore I'm in a position to tell whether I'm speaking with an appropriate level of excitement or whether I'm hyping it.
You on the other hand do not know the news, and so you can't tell whether I'm hyping it or not.
So you'll have to trust me on this one.
