Actually we were planning this kind of distribution since may. One of our team members discussed it with raxe.io back then and a few weeks later MIN was born. But it doesnt matter, we have better things in the pipeline.

Regarding closed source distribution (already received a couple of messages with questions): this is the only possiblity. We will send the source code to the pool owners + exchange and it may be checked by a community member with a good reputation. This will only affect big miners negatively
