I have the same issue and the wallet seems like it is stuck at the same block (block 694294). I just left the wallet open for a while and get an error message in the wallet itself: EXCEPTION: 11DvException Db::get: Not enough space C:\Users\Path_to_sexcoin-qt.exe in Process . I have enough space on my hard drive not sure what's going on. 
quite a few people saw that error at one of the forks. the solution was to delete all the block chain data... don't delete wallet.dat of course
and re-download.The out of space seems to refer to DB entry space or something for orphan blocks or something, I'm not really sure but none of the reporters were ever out of disk space.
Thanks I deleted blk0001.dat and blkindex.dat and restarted, that fixed it. I started re-downloading before I saw the other post - I'll do that next time I have a problem it sounds like that tip would work across multiple clients.
