Your router may not be letting the program connect? You may have to open the port with the router rather than windows firewall.
For this instant i connected thru a different ips as well ,without a router .
You have Teamviewer? Let me know and we can resolve this quick through TV if you are up for it.

Apparently he was affected by a known issue. https://github.com/darkcoinproject/darkcoin/issues/20
SOCKS is enabled by default in these latest builds and they don't connect if you are starting from scratch. Should be getting fixed once they add an onion seeder and I remember BitcoinFX had set up a couple. Flare needs to fix this I suppose.

You can re-enable AVG. It wasn't the issue!
yes i have already enabled it and the client works fine
