Not buying that you had never heard of Monopoly before. Far too many similarities.  there is also hundreds if not thousands of different types of monopoly, you had to have known. 

As for anyone that says Monopoly isn't fun.  They've obviously not played after a few beers or taken it serious enough.  My g.f. and I play it with my mother often.  My mother is ruthless when it comes to playing.  The games can get pretty heated.
