It would be helpful if we decide on our next development options and funds needed for the task, etc..

Fully agreed, I'd like to see merchant tools - RPC wallet support for e-shops and online payments aka PayPal.
Also well established development team with some kind of documentation (wiki, bugzilla).

It's up to us as community to add value so I plan to build USB miner that anyone can start mining Aeon with easily.
